Race-n-Roll Ski Mounting Instructions

Posted by Kent Davis on 9/4/2020

Mounting Instructions:

1. Place the wheel mounts on a stable work

surface. Make sure the Race-n-Roll logo on

each truck is facing away from the bindings.

2. Place the ski on top of the mounts.

3. Position the end of the braking mount near

the tail of the skis. The spring retainer can extend

past the end of the skis if the top mounting plate

hits the rear of the boot bindings.

4. Position the ski on the rear wheel mount in

the center of the cork protector. Carefully align

the mount in a straight line with the ski. Good

alignment is critical for a straight ride.

5. Position the ski on the front wheel mount in

the center of the cork protector. Carefully align

the mount in a straight line with the ski and the

wheels on the rear mount.

6. Measure the distance from the rear mounting

plate to the center mark of the bindings.

7. Match the distance from the rear mounting

plate to the center mark of the bindings for

the front mounting plate.

8. Add the top mounting plates.

9. Tighten the hex nuts with the included hand

spinner and deep socket. Tighten FIRMLY by

hand. NEVER apply excessive torque with a

wrench or socket set. The mount will attach

securely WITHOUT bending the mounting plates.

10. The hex nuts should tighten with approximately

1/8” exposed.

11. If there is not enough bolt thread exposed

(or too much) for the hex cap nuts, exchange the

bolts in sets of 4 per mount with the included bolts.

There are 16 bolts for each size:

1”, 1-1/8”, 1-1/4”, 1-3/8”, 1-1/2”

12. Securely hand tighten the hex cap nuts with

the deep socket spinner. There are 12 spare hex

nuts and 12 spare hex cap nuts included.

13. Attach the Velcro brake cable strain relief

strap around the ski. Use the leg strap to keep

the cable from dragging the road and out

of your way.

You should never use your

Race-n-Roll training system

in the rain. The slick wheels

will lose traction and the

distance for a complete stop

will increase with the slightest

moisture on the road.

REMEMBER Similar to skateboarding,

Roller Ski Training is a dangerous

sport and could result in serious

injury or death. Train within your

ability. Always wear a helmet and

proper safety gear. Follow traffic

and pedestrian safety rules. Use

at your own risk.
